WofA-WV to host Governor Jim Justice

WofA logo
The Women of Asphalt - West Virginia is set to host a luncheon featuring West Virginia Governor Jim Justice at the newly renovated Waterfront Hall overlooking the Ohio River in Wheeling WV. This event will likely focus on the women in the construction and asphalt industry, road maintenance, and other related topics in the mountain state. Governor Justice has been actively involved in initiatives to improve West Virginia’s infrastructure, most recently through the signage of Senate Bill 1002. This bill included $150million in supplemental highway funding for paving WV local roadways and projects like Roads to Prosperity which aimed at addressing ailing roads across the state.
The Women of Asphalt will also host Dan Milleson and Lora Collins, Owner of the Waterfront Hall and National WofA board of Trustee member, respectively.
Professional headshots will also be available prior to lunch and are included in the registration fee. Lunch will be provided by an Ohio Valley favorite, the Wood Fired Pizza Company.
Following the luncheon attendees are welcome to take a walking tour of the Wheeling Streetscape Project accompanied by Triton Construction.
Register for the event here.
