WVDOH August 2026 Material Indices

WVDOH has released its Fuel, Asphalt, and Cement Price Adjustment Indices effective August 1, 2026, as noted below.
Amid the continuing conflict in Iran, this month’s Asphalt Index rose by $8, roughly 1% to $703.00 per ton. This marks the fifth incremental increase since the initial spike at the onset of the conflict. The Fuel Index rose sharply by $0.80, 24%, following a brief dip in July, returning the index to levels experienced from April through June. Finally, the Cement Index increased by $2, or approximately 1%, to $204.45 per ton.
