During her time, Dee has been primarily responsible for the day to day traffic control operations of their various paving projects. Dee did not come into the construction industry through traditional means. In her past life, while working as a bartender and cook, she had a regular customer that worked construction. While discussing a career that provided the benefits and retirement she was looking for, he recommended Dee join her local Labor Union.
“And the rest is history as they say. There is no time like the present to try a new career path in the construction industry. Whether you are attending college, vocational school or looking for a change in your current career, there is plenty of room for growth and opportunity in construction,” Dee said.
